Cup Face 360° technology makes the entire beta-titanium face a sweet spot. The 3-D plasma welding is completely off the face, enabling maximum rebound properties over a larger hitting area. It’s a sweet spot that is 30% larger than normal insert technology.

Beta-Titanium Face

MacGregor uses TVC beta-titanium in the NVG2’s cup face, because its high elongation properties are ideal to generate hot ball response from all points of impact. Quadra Tungsten Weighting
Higher MOI. Less twisting. Greater accuracy.Distance technology isn’t much help if it only puts you further OB, which is why the MACTEC NVG2 Driver is equipped with high-density tungsten. Four precision-placed weights keep unwanted rotation of the clubhead to a minimum. The 1.5 gram weights in the extreme heel and toe act as stabilizing forces to increase MOI, while 10 and 7 gram tungsten weights are precisely positioned in the sole to create a draw bias. Quadra tungsten weighting complements the power of the NVG2 with an abundance of control - something you’ll appreciate if you want to play your second shot from the fairway, not the tee box.
